Helping Women Feel Their Best—It’s Personal

Taking care of your health doesn’t have to be confusing, restrictive, or frustrating, but for many women, that’s exactly how it feels. I’m here to show you a simpler, more empowering way.

I’m Lisa, a certified life, health, and nutrition coach, and a current Master’s student in Integrative Nutrition.

For years, I've lived a healthy lifestyle, stayed active as an amateur athlete, and taught at Colorado State University. But a wake-up call shifted my focus entirely to health and nutrition.

My turning point came when I lost my sister at just 60 years old. Watching her suffer with health issues made me realize how deeply I wanted to understand nutrition—how it can prevent disease, heal the body, and improve overall well-being. That experience inspired me to pursue health coaching so I could help others take control of their health before it's too late.

The truth is, I’d been living like a health coach long before I ever held the title—encouraging friends and family, sharing meal ideas, inspiring movement, and gently nudging them to put their health first. Eventually, I decided to make it official. I earned certifications through the Health Coach Institute and ISSA, and I’m now pursuing my second master’s degree in Integrative Nutrition to better support the women I work with.

As women, we’re so used to taking care of everyone else that our own needs often end up last. Over time, that catches up with us—extra weight, low energy, rising stress, or feeling unhappy in our bodies. We may start to believe this is just how life is now. But the truth is, we don’t have to accept it as our new normal. We can take small, powerful steps to feel better—physically, mentally, emotionally—and regain control of our well-being.

That’s where I come in. I help women navigate these challenges with a realistic, compassionate approach—one that doesn’t involve restriction, overwhelm, or trying to do it all perfectly. Together, we’ll build a plan that fits your real life—something sustainable and empowering, that puts you back in the driver’s seat of your health.

Life outside of health coaching…

  • I live near downtown Scottsdale, Arizona, and love the natural beauty of the desert and the vibrant energy of the city all around me.

  • Tennis, pickleball, Pure Barre, long walks, and hiking Camelback Mountain are my favorite ways to stay active and feel grounded.

  • I love cooking simple, nutritious meals at home—nothing fancy, just real, wholesome food that makes me feel good.
  • I’m an avid reader and usually have at least five books going at once—especially ones about human behavior, psychology, nutrition, and the inner workings of the mind.

  • Watercolor painting is one of my creative outlets—I enjoy painting bookmarks and cards for friends and family.

  • My favorite treat? A cup of tea and a few pieces of dark chocolate—every afternoon!

  • My two adult kids and two grandchildren are my greatest joy.
