I Understand Food Confusion — Because I Lived It
I know how confusing food, diet, and nutrition can be because I lived it. I had always been thin, and then in my mid-40s, extra weight started creeping in, and I struggled to lose it. By my early 50s, I was 15 pounds heavier and two pant sizes up. I dieted, restricted calories and carbs, felt hungry, and watched my weight yo-yo, even though I was active and exercising regularly. I was trying to do everything right. I just didn’t know how — or how to sustain it.
What finally changed wasn’t more willpower or another plan. It was learning how my body actually responds to food — not just what to eat, but how to eat and when to eat. I learned that my midlife body works differently than it did in my 30s and 40s, and that my approach needed to work with those biological changes, not against them.
At 61, I’ve maintained a weight that feels right for my body for eight years now. I don’t diet anymore, I don’t restrict myself, and I don’t obsess over food. Eating well feels easy and balanced. I fit into my clothes year after year, and I have energy, body confidence, and freedom to enjoy life fully.
I work with women who want more than short-term weight loss. Women who want to feel strong, energized, and confident in their bodies as they get older — without dieting, restriction, or starting over every few months. This work is about supporting muscle, metabolism, and brain health, and building habits that work and that last. That’s what I can help you achieve too.
I’m a certified health and nutrition coach, currently completing a Master’s in Integrative Nutrition, and I specialize in helping women navigate food and health in midlife.
If you’re ready for an approach that works with your body — I’d love to support you.

Life outside of health coaching…
Home is near downtown Scottsdale, Arizona—I love the natural beauty of the desert and the vibrant energy of the city all around me.
Staying active is important to me, so I mix it up with tennis, pickleball, Pure Barre, long walks, regular strength training, and the occasional Camelback Mountain hike.
- I love cooking simple, nutritious meals at home—nothing fancy, just real, wholesome food that makes me feel good.
There's always a stack of books in progress on my nightstand—I'm especially drawn to anything on psychology, behavior, nutrition, or the brain.
Watercolor painting is one of my creative outlets—I enjoy painting bookmarks and cards for friends and family.
I’m a mom to two wonderful adult kids and a grandma to two sweet grandkids.
